Edition 2026
Design’s influence extends far beyond products, interfaces, or business outcomes.
It shapes how people behave, how organisations think, how societies evolve, and how futures unfold. Every design choice, whether big or small, sets off ripples across systems we often don’t see and rarely measure. Yet the world’s understanding of design’s impact remains narrow.
We celebrate surface-level wins: higher engagement, faster growth, smoother usability, refined aesthetics. But beneath these visible gains lies a much deeper landscape of consequences: psychological, cultural, ecological, organisational, ethical, and systemic. Designers influence these every day, often without naming or fully recognising them.
The real question is
This edition would uncover …

Selection: Approval-based (to protect trust, signal, and intimacy)
This fee exists to keep participation intentional and to support the editorial and publishing effort that turns conversations into a meaningful public artefact.
At the end of the year, we publish the Moonshot 2026 Report / Book, combining the strongest learnings, patterns, and new language that emerged across mixers. All participating leaders are credited as contributors and share royalties from book sales (shared across credited leaders, subject to participation level)
The format expects leaders to show up with real thinking. Leaders are required to review the short pre-reads we share so the room can go deeper faster. The format works best when you participate proactively, including the tensions, trade-offs, and failure cases that rarely make it into public stories. We also ask that you respect confidentiality and the spirit of the room.
